The Senior Saints ministry is a special part of Calvary Baptist Church that is continuing to develop. This dynamic aspect of our church family began in 1997 under the leadership of Karen Zubic who had a burden for the seniors of the church, which included her own parents and aunts and uncles. This is a special group of people who meet twice a month, on the first and third Tuesday of each month. The purpose of the ministry is to provide an active source of encouragement for the seniors within the church and reach out to other Senior Saints within the community. Whether through special luncheons, picnics, crafts, game days, baking "sweets for the soldiers", special holiday projects or road trips - the seniors have a blast!
